Science Bus sends groups of college students to one of the local elementary schools (see below) Thursdays and Fridays to implement our own hands-on science lessons. Through our passion for science and the fun integrative experiments, we hope to make science exciting and inspiring to young students.​
We also seek to provide students at the Claremont Colleges an opportunity to give back to the community and gain teaching experience. Student volunteers write all of the curriculum, manage funds and lesson supplies, coordinate transportation to schools, and of course, actually teach! Science Bus hopes to give students at the Claremont Colleges a chance to inspire others and share their passion for science.
We believe in providing exposure to the sciences at a young age in order to foster children's curiosity.

Schools Serviced
We are currently partnered with 5 local elementary schools in the Pomona Unified School District, teaching over 570 students in 23 classrooms every week.
